waste denmark is the Danish industry cooperation association for actors within waste treatment. The association has offices in Copenhagen and Brussels.

The International Solid Waste Association - ISWA - is an international, independent and non-profit making association, working in the public interest to promote and develop sustainable waste management worldwide. ISWA has members around the world and is the only worldwide association promoting sustainable and professional waste management

Danish Board of District Heating (DBDH) is a private organisation representing the leading actors within the Danish district heating sector.

Dakofa is a member organisation of central and local authorities and private organisations within the waste management field.

AV Miljø is a waste landfill located at Avedøre Holme west of Copenhagen. The landfill was established in 1989 and is owned by the two waste management companies of I/S Vestforbrænding and I/S Amagerforbrænding.

Solum Gruppen consists of a number of companies in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Activities are based on management and treatment of organic residues.

Ministry of the Environment is the supreme authority for waste management in Denmark. The Ministry is in charge of waste, chemical products, drinking water, and wastewater.

Danish Environmental Protection Agency is part of the Ministry and administers legislation about environmental protection, which is to ensure clean air, water and soil as well as good living conditions for people, animals and nature.

Ministry of Climate and Energy is responsible for national and international efforts to prevent climate change, as well as energy issues, national geological surveys in Denmark and Greenland, and meteorology.

The Danish Energy Agency is part of the Ministry of Climate and Energy. The agency carries out tasks, nationally and internationally, in relation to the production, supply and consumption of energy - as well as the efforts to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases.

Local Government Denmark is an interest group and member association for Denmark's 98 municipalities. All Danish municipalities are member of LGDK.
